Registered Nurse - Vascular Access
The primary purpose of this position is to apply advanced vascular access knowledge and skills in the caring of patients requiring intravenous (IV) access and Infusion Therapy. The RN will provide Vascular Access Device selection (PICC, Midline, CVC placement, difficult PIV, phlebotomy and intraosseous) and insertions in a variety of settings, including; inpatient, emergency department, infusion center, outpatient clinic on site, pre-op areas and radiology. Pay Schedule NF45 The Vascular Access Specialist is a Registered Nurse (RN) qualified by education and a broad-based clinical knowledge that enables her/him to effectively provide device recommendations and collaboration with clinical staff to provide vascular access insertions, maintenance, patient teaching, as well as staff teaching
