ABOUT US: The Veterans Healthcare Administration is the largest health care system in the United States. Our Little Rock facility is rated in the most complex category among our 152 facilities across the nation. Our goal is to build the nation’s best Pulmonology and Critical Care programs for our veterans. We are seeking one outstanding Pulmonologist to join our Little Rock facility and help us reach that goal. We have a total of 280 operating beds at our Little Rock facility. Additionally, we have a 119 bed rehab unit, and a 152 bed community living center. Our Little Rock facility is also adjoined with our affiliate academic medical center, the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences, through a skybridge for access to both sites.
WORKLOAD AND TEAM: 1. Daily schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; 2. Clinic, Inpatient rounding and consults, and pulmonary procedures; 3. Nights, weekends and holiday on-call responsibility of no more than 10 days per month. A full hospitalist team manages most weeknight and weekend calls based on your preferences; 4. Mentor Residents and Fellows;
