Seeking an experienced clinical RN to work alongside bedside nurses on our Neurology/Transplant/Urology and Ortho/Trauma/Pulmonary units. This role is primarily during a late afternoon to night shift. Must have BSN. Must have a national certification or open to attaining one within 6 months. Must also have at least 5 years of direct patient care experience in a healthcare setting. The incumbent will need to have leadership experience, a strong clinical skill set, change agent mentality, and passion for quality and safety. Strong clinical experience along with education, collaboration and quality/safety work is required. The Clinical Nurse Attending is a leadership position focused on the clinical management of patients. The Clinical Nurse Attending prepares highly skilled nurses focused on improving quality and safety outcomes for patients or patient populations. The Clinical Nurse Attending assumes accountability for patient-care outcomes through the translation of evidence-based information to design, implement, and evaluate patient-care processes and models of care delivery.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. (Required)
Master’s degree in related field (Preferred)
Experience
Five or more years of related experience in a health care setting. (Required)
Certifications
Current AZ RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
National certification in area of specialty or related field acquired within the first 6 months of employment. (Required)
Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. (Required)
