RN PCU Full Time Days Position Summary
On our PCU/Telemetry Unit, you�ll act as the leader of the interdisciplinary team providing compassionate professional nursing care to a variety of medical/surgical patients with specific neuro/cardiac needs, including stroke, cardiac related conditions, respiratory disorders and a variety of other conditions across the continuum of care for a diverse population of patients.� You�ll be responsible for directing the work of Patient Care Assistants who will be there to support you in providing exemplary patient care.
Special Skills:�Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with team members required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of above average pressure. Excellent customer service skills. Must have basic computer skills.�Strongly preferred experience�in TELE/ PCU or Stepdown or 2 years of Medical surgical experience in an acute care setting.
THE RN PCU FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Minimum Qualifications: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school. License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona. BSN Preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:�RN TELE or PCU or 2 years of Medical surgical experience in an Acute Care setting
Required Certifications/Licensure: ACLS and CPR required upon orientation completion in the following specialties: ER, ICU, Endoscopy, Tele, Cardiac Cath Lab, and L&D.
