Job SummaryThe Lead Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (LDCS) is responsible for assisting the Nursing Program Manager/Director of Nursing in the daily management of the Cardiology laboratory. Department responsibilities include but are not limited to: performing duties related to the role as Technical Director for IACEL accredited lab, including organizing and running quarterly meetings in collaboration with the Medical Director and staff, handling audit requests by IACEL, and maintaining appropriate documentation to meet IACEL requirements needed for re-accreditation.
