Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) for a Great Opportunity in Northern New Jersey
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) to join the Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute, Cardiothoracic Surgery Program at Morristown Medical Center. This role is ideal for self-starters and will give an NP or PA the opportunity to be part of a growing and well-established group with a robust staff.

The highest volume cardiac surgery program in New Jersey for over 15 years - our surgeons perform more than 1200 open heart procedures annually. The Advanced Practice Professional will be working in our 24 beds Critical Care unit and will be integral in the pre/post operative care of cardiac surgery patients in collaboration interdisciplinary team that includes Surgeons, Intensivists, NPs& PAs. The ideal candidate will have procedural based experience including but not limited to central line placements, a-line insertions, and will initiate appropriate interventions and orders appropriate diagnostic tests. Critical Care experience is preferred.

Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited APN/PA program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Previous cardiovascular surgical patient management experience preferred
- Minimum of 3 years Critical Care experience is preferred
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
