Cardiology Associates Medical Group is seeking one electrophysiologist interested in serving a broad range of patients from Ventura County and surrounding communities.This position will join an established EP with a panel and research agenda that have grown exponentially. The position will have the opportunity to both collaborate with the existing EP while growing the EP panel through established and new relationships.
No general cardiology clinic or hospital responsibilities are expected with this position--the focus will be solely on EP with the exception of ~5 weekends per year and ~2 nights per month of overnight home-based call.
Each of the two local hospitals have 1 dedicated EP lab and multiple cath labs. The practice also performs some procedures at an ambulatory surgical center.
Cardiology Associates has subspecialists in Interventional and Structural Cardiology, Vascular Disease, and Electrophysiology. We have a well-trained and dedicated staff (several with over 20+ years of service), including PET, SPECT, Stress Echo, Echocardiography, and Cardiac Device Techs in-house.
Cardiology Associates is affiliated with and provides call at one primary hospital, but performs procedures in a second hospital and an ambulatory surgical center.

Clinics: Cardiology Associates operates two clinics--in Ventura and Oxnard, California.
Clinic Hours: Clinics are open 8-5, with patients seen 8:30-5.
Call: ER call is approximately one in every 12 days with one in 12weekends at only one hospital.
Procedures/Imaging: Expected to conduct cardioversions, TEEs, stress echo oversight, and reading of nuclear studies. ICAEL accredited
Echocardiography and Nuclear Labs with PET and Cardiac CT programs. Full EP and advanced structural program includes imaging for TAVR, Mitralclip, Tricilip, PFO closure, and WATCHMAN.
Resident Training: Cardiology Associates supports the training of internal medicine and family practice residents affiliated with our hospital residency program.
Research: An interest in research is beneficial as the practice leads and participates in clinical trials.
