We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our CVICUSurgery position at Methodist Hospital.
Position Details:
Full-Time, Nights, Weekends Sat and Sun and 1 other weekday
No Call
Inpatient: 100%
Patient Population:
Care for pre and post operative cardiovascular, vascular, thoracic, transplant and complex cardiac patients in the CVICU and step-down units.
Key Responsibilities:
Covers 34 bed Cardiovascular Surgery ICU at Methodist Hospital
Provider will care for pre and post operative patients across cardiovascular surgery, mechanical circulatory support (MCS), thoracic transplant, cardiac medical, and vascular surgery specialties.
Performing procedures such as intubations, central line placement, and arterial line management.
Working within a large, collaborative team alongside staff surgeons, intensivists, residents and fellow APP's
Qualifications:
Master's Degree required
ACNP, and PA certification required
Seeking an experienced APP with prior clinical experience in the ICU.
Preference will be given to candidates with a background in cardiovascular care.
