We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our CVICU Surgery position at Methodist Hospital.
Position Details:
- Full-Time, Nights, Weekends Sat and Sun and 1 other weekday
- No Call
- Inpatient: 100%
Patient Population:
- Care for pre and post operative cardiovascular, vascular, thoracic, transplant and complex cardiac patients in the CVICU and step-down units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Covers 34 bed Cardiovascular Surgery ICU at Methodist Hospital
- Provider will care for pre and post operative patients across cardiovascular surgery, mechanical circulatory support (MCS), thoracic transplant, cardiac medical, and vascular surgery specialties.
- Performing procedures such as intubations, central line placement, and arterial line management.
- Working within a large, collaborative team alongside staff surgeons, intensivists, residents and fellow APP's
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree required
- ACNP, and PA certification required
- Seeking an experienced APP with prior clinical experience in the ICU.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a background in cardiovascular care.
