Pulmonologist
The provider will evaluate and treat pulmonary conditions. Be an integral member of the Inpatient and ICU as well as function in an Outpatient pulmonary disease clinic. Have the ability to interpret pulmonary function tests (PFTs). Diagnose, treat, or recommend treatment for diseases of the respiratory system and breathing-related conditions. This specialist can provide care for many breathing-related conditions including asthma, cystic fibrosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung cancer, pulmonary fibrosis, tuberculosis and work-related lung diseases and be an active participant of the Lung Cancer Screening Program.
