Registered Nurse-Operating Room (OR)
The OR Nurse possesses the knowledge and skills to effectively apply aspects of the nursing process with collaborative, interdisciplinary, evidence-based practice, which will enable effective care coordination and implementation of health promotion and disease prevention practices. Provides education to patients, families, and significant others; administers medications and treatments; participates in the quality improvement process; and is attuned to the needs of adult and geriatric patients.
