JOB SUMMARY:Â
Our Respiratory Therapist plays a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive the most advanced care by providing essential respiratory care procedures to critically ill patients. An integral part of the care team, the individual selected for this role will collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to provide expert assessments of patients and determine and execute an appropriate treatment plan to ensure the best outcomes. A key member of our emergency team, the Respiratory Therapist responds to emergency calls (codes, traumas, rapid responses), and evaluates the patient's needs for airway care and secretion removal.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Licensed as Respiratory Therapist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
AHA BLS required prior to orientation completion.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Excellent communication skills preferred.
RRT credential awarded by the NBRC preferred to start, required within 90 days of hire.
