UCHealth has an excellent opportunity for a PRN Surgical ICU Advanced PracticePhysician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work for UCHealth Surgical Clinic-Memorial Hospital Central

* Variety - This position works with the Surgical ICU team aswell as the Trauma Acute Care Surgery team and participates inmulti-disciplinary in-patient rounding on the unit.
* Schedule - Supports a work-life balance. No call required.This position is PRN. We are a service with full day, weekend and holiday shiftcoverage required.
* Our Team - Is a collaborative and cohesive group thatincludes 18 Surgeons, and 7 APPs who thrive on proving the best SurgicalCritical Care in the region. Works closely with TACS team of the same surgeonsand 17 additional APPs.

Preferred: One year of Trauma Surgery & Acute Care experience andone year of Critical Care experience as either a Physician Assistant or NursePractitioner.

The pay range for this position is: $51.75 - $71.70 / hour, withPRN differential. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Requirements for Nurse Practitioners
* Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited NursePractitioner program
* Nurse Practitioner Certification issued by the ANCC or AANPCB
* Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State Board of Nursing inthe state of practice or compact privileges under the multi-state NurseLicensure Compact agreement
* Unrestricted medical staff membership, with appropriate practice privileges
* Full Prescriptive Authority is required as well as RFNA
* Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe allmedications commonly prescribed in the course of practice
* Eligible to provide services reimbursable services and maintain providerstatus with Medicare and Medicaid
* Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusion from either theHHS/OIG or the GSA List of Parties Excluded from Federal Programs
* Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) issued bythe American Heart Association or the American Red Cross

Requirements for Physician Assistants
* Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
* Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State ofColorado
* Physician Assistant (PA-C) certification issued by the National Commissionfor Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
* Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe allmedications commonly prescribed in the course of practice
* Eligible to provide services reimbursable services and maintain providerstatus with Medicare and Medicaid
* Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusion from either theHHS/OIG or the GSA List of Parties Excluded from Federal Programs
* Unrestricted medical staff membership, with appropriate practice privileges
* Prescriptive authority as appropriate, per medical staff service privilegingprocess
* Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) issued bythe American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
