Summary: The Physician Assistant (PA) is responsible for working collaboratively with members of the Surgery Department staff in order to assist the surgeons in the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients. In addition, the PA cares for a wide range of medical complications, some of which require immediate medical attention that are often serious and may be life threatening.
