Position Description:

Lee Physician Group is looking for seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support a Total Joint Surgeon. Candidates for this position will be interested in joining a stable and employed orthopedic practice that focuses on high quality and excellent patient outcomes. This position will be responsible for covering outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and surgically assisting in the OR. Those applying for this position can expect a good work life balance with a mainly elective caseload and light call coverage. Electronic medical record used for both outpatient and inpatient is EPIC.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited program

Certified by the National Commission of Physician Assistants or certified NP

Nurse Practitioners must have a first assist certification

Have an active Florida license or ability to obtain in the state of Florida

Certified to perform Basic Life Support and Advance Cardiac Life Support

At least 3 years of experience in surgically assisting with orthopedic cases; total joint hip and knee replacement cases preferred
