Nemours Cardiac Center - a state of the art integrated practice with over 300 associates with a 16 bed cardiac intensive care unit, 2 hybris interventional and EP labs is celebrating 25 years Anniversary this year! The NCC has a 16 bed inpatient acute care unit with dedicated PACU and OR. We are looking for a pediatric cardiologist with imaging skills in all echocardiography modalities. A physician with either more than three years imaging experience in a academic program or fourth year imaging skills is desired. Interest or prior expertise in leading QI effort within imaging or widely in the division of cardiology will be able to contribute more to the current needs of the program. The personnel in cardiac center include- 3 CT surgeons under leadership of an internationally renowned surgeon Dr Christian Pizarro, 6 cardiac intensivists, 4 cardiac anesthesiologists and 22 cardiologists inclusive of 2 interventionalists, 2 Electrophysiologists, 2 heart failure and transplant specialists and 2 ACHD certified physicians. We have 12 Advanced practice providers. The Cardiac Center also has 2.5 Psychologists, Genetic counselor in addition to all patient care services needed for optimal patient care all collocated under the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine. The entire team provides services across fetal through Adult Congenital Heart Disease services. Our academic affiliation is with Thomas Jefferson University. We have Research affiliations with University of Delaware , Christiana care in addition to TJU.

The Cardiac Center also launched the Program for Cardiovascular Research and Innovations that started in 2022 and has supported and mentored many physicians and fellows. We take two categorical fellows a year and one advanced imaging fellow.

The Imaging section of the Nemours Cardiac Center-Wilmington Delaware provides coverage and oversight of the main hospital at Wilmington and 13 clinics across NJ,DE and PA. The Imaging Section oversees performance of

Over 12000 trans thoracic echocardiograms, >2000 fetal echocardiograms, 250 Cardiac MRIs and Cardiac CT program that is growing. It also offers advanced imaging capabilities in deformation imaging,3D echo, Contrast echo and stress echocardiogram. We have a senior imaging fellowship . The Imaging resource infrastructure is supported by a dedicated IT team and is integrated with our EHR systems. We have 9 fetal cardiologists , 3 dedicated advanced cross-sectional imagers in MRI and CT. We currently have 13 Sonographers and are expanding. Our Imaging physicians are involved in multiple multicenter studies in Fetal Heart Society , are active with SCMR and involved as auxiliary site PIs for PHN studies.

We also founded the Mid-Atlantic Congenital Cardiac Imaging Society that gives a platform for regional networking and opportunity for growth for fellows and physicians. Support for engagement with National societies and participation is supported.

Those at mid-career level with >7 years of experience at an associate professor level with interest in a leadership opportunity within the Cardiac Center Imaging Program are strongly encouraged to apply.

The minimum requirements are.

1. Completed a three-year Board-Certified Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship
2. Fourth year in imaging is preferred if have less than 3 years of imaging dedicated responsibilities.
