This position is in Specialty Clinics within the Ambulatory Care Service supporting clinic operations within the Medical Sub Specialty and Surgical Clinics. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 03/28/2023. Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-05 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: identify irregularities in patient cardiac rhythm and utilize knowledge of cardiac rhythms to verify the data that is provided by EKG and the Holter scanning software; perform analysis of ECG data from Holter monitor to create report, evaluate scan for provider notification criteria; manage the MUSE database system OR, Education: Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have six months of graduate education or an internship with courses related to the occupation. OR, Combination: Equivalent combination of experience and education are qualifying for entry level for which both education and experience are acceptable.
