Schedule: Full Time
Shift: mostly weekends including Friday and covering vacations; call is required and variable shifts

The role you’ll contribute:
Performs C.T. Scan procedures. Performs a variety of technical scanning procedures that require independent judgment and initiative as required in the application of ionizing radiation for C.T. Scan Diagnostic Procedures.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Technologist is proficient on the use of their specific imaging equipment and the department's policies and procedures.
- Works well with other departments (ED, OR, etc) to facilitate patient care.
- Demonstrates proficiency in performing technical imaging procedures safely according to UCH standards of care.
- Verifies patient identification and reconfirms ordered/requested exam for accuracy.
- Demonstrates evidence of continuous professional development.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Minimum qualifications:
- High School graduation or equivalent.
- Graduate from an accredited x-ray technology school with associate degree or certification and certificate of registry from the ARRT.
- Current Florida X-ray Technologist HRS license
- ARRT(R) registered
- Current BLS
