Physician - Pulmonary/Critical Care - Maplewood & Woodbury, MN

We are seeking a Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician to join our practice at the M Health Fairview St. John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN and the M Health Fairview Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, MN.

Practice Highlights:

The Pul/CC physician will devote clinical effort to providing high quality clinical care in a combination of both critical care and pulmonary medicine.

• The primary clinical effort will be at the M Health Fairview St. John's Hospital, M Health Fairview Woodwinds Hospital and the Maplewood Lung Center in Maplewood, MN. Will be adding LTACH coverage in St. Paul in the future. However, may be required to travel to other hospitals within the system based upon patient needs.

• Collaborative group practice with a large internal referral base that includes 17 physicians and 5 advance practice providers.

• Approximately 12 weeks of outpatient clinic time per year and the remaining time will be inpatient work.

• Approximately 80% pulmonary medicine patients, and 20% critical care patients.

• There are 20 ICU beds at St. John's Hospital and 8 ICU beds at Woodwinds Hospital and 24 LTACH beds in St. Paul.

• Support staff includes respiratory therapy and RN's

• Procedures include Bronchoscopy and PFT.

• May see between 8 and 16 patients/day in the clinic setting, depending upon the number of follow-up appointments. In the ICU setting, may see an average 10-12 patients/day.

• EPIC EMR used throughout the healthcare system

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship-training program.

• Board certified with the ABIM in internal medicine and board eligible/certified in pulmonary and critical care.

• Licensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota, and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.

• Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of the VISA.
