RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist for its Northern Region of the Children’s Health Network
RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, and The Department of Pediatrics at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ are seeking a dynamic, career-oriented physician to join the Division of Cardiology as a Pediatric Cardiologist.
This opportunity is ideal for a Cardiologist to join one of the most well-established programs in the state. Ideal candidates will join a seasoned, multidisciplinary team of 6 cardiologists, with access to advanced facilities as part of the RWJBarnabas Health system. Clinical work will mainly be focused in the Northern Region. The Northern Region consists of the Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ (CHoNJ) and the McMullen Children’s Center at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ.
The Ideal Candidate Will Be:
Fellowship trained in Pediatric Cardiology
American Board of Pediatrics Certified/Eligible
NJ licensed or eligible for NJ licensure
5+ years of clinical experience (Preferred)

Children’s Hospital of New Jersey (CHoNJ),located at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, provides care for more than 30 specialized pediatric services, including New Jersey’s largest Valerie Fund Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders and the Children’s Heart Center, which offers a complete range of medical and surgical treatments for the most complex cardiac abnormalities. It also includes a Level IV Regional Perinatal Center that offers New Jersey’s first Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) therapy and the highest level of intensive care for both mothers and newborns.
The Department of Pediatrics at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center offers a multidisciplinary team of experts, with an attending staff that includes more than 250 pediatric practitioners and an integrated residency program with CHoNJ, in nearly every subspecialty. Its new McMullen Children’s Center is a “hospital within a hospital”, designed to meet the medical and emotional needs of young patients. Pediatric inpatient services includes a 10-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The Division of Pediatric Nephrology and Transplantation works closely with Cooperman Barnabas’ pediatric urologists – the most experienced Pediatric Renal Transplant Program in New Jersey.
