This position coordinates, oversees, and carries out the outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation program, including intake coordination and processing, implementing of the program, and monitoring outcomes and satisfaction. The position is also responsible for keeping current with reimbursement issues, and billing procedures and maintaining compliance with third-party policies. Other responsibilities include assessing, evaluating, and treating participants per emergency protocol, assuming the responsibility and the authority for the ongoing operation of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program, and developing, implementing, and reviewing program protocols, standing orders, policies, and procedures.
A.S. Degree in Respiratory Care from an AHA accredited program is required. One to two years of previous hospital respiratory experience is preferred. Must be registered by NBRC and have a current New Hampshire license.
