The RN for will perform clinical duties as directed by the Associate Director for Patient Care Services through the Chief Nurse of Acute Care Services and Nurse Manager and Assistant Nurse Manager (or designee) of the unit, which provides care for a team of Veterans within the medical/surgical/telemetry unit. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education
