Works within in a high-volume open-heart surgery team to facilitate the smooth execution of cardiac procedures by anticipating and troubleshooting problems, working collaboratively to facilitate case flow, expedite surgery and promote the patient experience. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to provide clinical nursing expertise through all phases of care for patients with cardiovascular heart disease requiring surgical evaluation and intervention.
