SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for managing the daily operations of the Pulmonary Diagnostics Laboratory including staff supervision; assistance with departmental budget, policy and procedures, quality assurance; and maintenance/purchase of supplies and diagnostic equipment. Also responsible to develop and implement continuing clinical education programs for Pulmonary Laboratory staff ; to provide orientation for new employees, students, residents, fellows and nurses; and to develop and manage patient education programs.
Bachelors Degree required
Three (3) years relevant experience required
Must be licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Respiratory Therapist
Direct experience in a Pulmonary Laboratory performing diagnostic tests required
CPFT and/or RPFT preferred
Leadership experience preferred
