M Health Fairview is looking for a Nursing Assistant at St. Johns Hospital in Maplewood, MN. This position is 48 hours per two weeks on the Nightshift , for 8 hour shifts , block schedule, and is eligible for benefits.

About this Unit:
St. Johns is proud to offer hiring opportunities within its growing ICU. Comprised of a Medical Surgical and Cardiac Specialty population, St. Johns currently has 20 ICU beds. We pride ourselves on delivering the best patient care and welcome nurses who are engaged and eager to develop their practice.

In this role, you will work to support the Nursing Process to achieve outcome focused patient care with the Fairview Nursing vision. Unique tasks to this job include:
Assisting, under the direct supervision of a professional nurse, in the delivery of direct patient care.
Assisting with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, repositioning, ambulating, transporting, and feeding
Observing and collecting patient data and documenting in EPIC
Providing safety protocols to patients and families
Setting up and maintaining rooms along with stocking supplies on unit.
Current certification on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry upon hire with the following exceptions:
If the applicant is currently enrolled in an RN program, and completion of one (1) semester of clinical rotation within the program or If the applicant is a current Fairview employee, this requirement does not need to be maintained throughout employment and is not required if subsequently transferring into another Nursing Assistant or Nursing Station Tech or Nursing Station Attendant position
