M Health Fairview is looking for a RN Cath Lab/Interventional Imaging at Ridges Hospital located in Burnsville, MN. This position is 60 hours per two weeks on the Day shift, 10 hour shifts, no weekends, no on call. This position is eligible for full benefits .
RN will work in accordance with all policy, procedure and professional practice guidelines, while coordinating care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate. The autonomous practitioner is accountable for their own practice, current knowledge, and competence.
To be successful, the Heart Cath. Specialist RN must be able to:
Assess patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes
Develop an individualized nursing plan of care
Provide care to patients undergoing invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including: cardiac and radiologic procedures
May cross train to the IR and Radiology departments
Current MN RN licensure in good standing.
At least 3 years of RN experience with 1 year of Cath Lab/IR/Critical Care experience required (airway management, experience with critical care drips, iv pressers, and acls related drugs and associated patient cares )
Current BLS for a healthcare provider from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
ACLS certification at the time of hire.
Ability to cross train between Cath Lab and IR depts.
BSN , enrolled in BSN , or ability to obtain in the near future.
