This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Learn more As a critical care Registered Nurse, you will deliver safe and effective care for patients requiring frequent monitoring and interventions. Common diagnoses include respiratory failure, advanced cardiac disease, renal failure, post operative surgical and other medical conditions. An an ICU/SDU nurse, you may be assigned patients on either level of care. The RN must demonstrate knowledge and competency in critical care nursing skills such as hemodynamic monitoring, early recognition of declining conditions including dysrhythmias, interpretation of lab values, medication titration and dosing, familiarity with vasoactive and sedation medications, and advanced respiratory support/devices.
