High quality healthcare, in the High Country. Middle Park Health is a 25-bed critical access hospital, with level IV emergency services at two main facilities, Kremmling and Granby. In addition, the health system has five rural health clinics and one urgent care clinic. The main facility is in Granby and features two operating rooms, outpatient ancillary services and specialty support including general surgery, orthopedics, GI, OB, podiatry, cardiology, urology, and dermatology. Middle Park Health serves the county’s 15,000+ residents as well as over 2 million annual visitors. Middle Park Health employs over 250 staff. Reports to: Director of Inpatient Nursing Description: The Registered Nurse providing care to the inpatient population(s) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge in the Emergency Department, Acute Care, Skilled Nursing, and Long Term Care settings while utilizing accepted standards & protocols of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (or equivalent), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Certified Emergency Nursing (CEN). The Registered Nurse is responsible for the achievement of patient outcomes through the implementation of clinical pathways. Available for on-call duty. Requirements: • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Licensure: licensed as a professional Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing preferred.
• 6 months of Medical – Surgical Nursing /or equivalent (desired).
• 6 months of Emergency Department Nursing (desired).
• Basic Life Support – BLS (or within 60 days of hire).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support – ACLS (or within one year of hire).
• Trauma Nurse Core Course – TNCC (desired).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support – PALS / ENPC / or equivalent (or within one year of hire)
