The Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator is an experienced Trauma Registered Nurse who assists in the promotion of the performance improvement at Doctors Medical Center. Responsibilities of this role include advanced clinical practice, quality improvement, and education to both hospital and pre-hospital employees. Primary focus will be on the Performance Improvement process. The Trauma Performance will perform duties as directed and work collaboratively with the Trauma Program Manager.
Qualifications:
CA RN LicenseBSN preferred ACLSTNCC ENPC MICNKnowledge of PI processes and implementation of PI/QA. Pre-hospital experience. RN with minimum of four (4) years experience in critical care or emergency nursing in Base Station/Trauma Center. Previous teaching experience in acute care hospital, preferred. Strong organization skills and a thorough knowledge of computers (Microsoft Work, Excel, and Outlook). Ability to write routine reports, design forms, retrieves data, and the ability to speak effectively with management and staff. Experience with Digital Innovations trauma registry, data base and report production.Ability to work independently.
